Ruckersville, Virginia is located in Central Virginia a bedroom community for famous Charlottesville, Virginia

Thomas Jefferson's Home "Monticello" (Look on the back of a Nickel) is located in Charlottesville and is right down the road about 20 miles. This is where Jefferson wrote the "Declaration of Independence"

Also the Lewis and Clark Expedition to Discover America began.

For those of you old enough to remember the TV show "The Walton’s" It was based upon the life of Earl Carter a family living on a farm here in the Great Depression. Here it was really called Carter's Mountain.

If you are a Civil War Buff, the Battle of Stanardsville was fought here, a mile away from our office.
